Our take
I grabbed the Acer Nitro EI2 on sale for $150, and I'm blown away by what you get. The 31.5-inch WQHD curved display is immersive, and the 165Hz refresh rate feels fantastic in fast-paced games. FreeSync Premium Pro works flawlessly with my AMD GPU, and the 1ms response time keeps motion blur to a minimum. However, the VA panel has some black smearing, and colors aren't as vibrant as IPS. The stand is basic, and the OSD is a bit clunky. For the price, these tradeoffs are easy to accept. It's a killer budget curved monitor.
